Life is all about trial and error

As a baby you touch something hot and realize it hurts.  You don't do that again.

When you grow up you fall in love, make new friends and crash cars.  Do you do it all again?

Things have changed

Last night was quite an enlightening experience.  I won't go into why, use your imagination.

I've come to realize a few things.  How stupid some things are.  How lame it is to get so pissed off at dumb fights.  How some people will never mind their own business and just like to start shit.  That getting all riled up and angry over these things is pointless.

The only thing you can do is cut these people from your life.  I'm 19.  I have to grow up a little bit.  If someone does not trust my word over someone else's then they were never my friend in the first place.  If that someone has a dyke friend that chooses to scream at me over the phone for no reason, why should it bother me?  The answer is, is that it shouldn't. At all.

It's pretty cliche to sit around and type how much everyone sucks.  How no one is enlightened as me.  How everyone is worried about stupid bullshit.  But that's not true.  Everyone has a different set of priorities.  Mine just so happen to not involve frivolous drama and fighting that a lot of my old friends are still involved in.  I won't be part of it anymore.  I won't have a chance to, I won't hang out with them.

The truth is, is that in the past couple weeks I have learned how many great people surround me.  How I will never lose most of them and how happy I am to have lost those that I've volunteered to never call/hang/be around again.  Some are just all around bad people.  Some thrive on causing pain.  Some are just out to feel better than everyone else.

That's nice for them.  They can talk, I hope it helps.
